Rosalía Celebrates First Anniversary of LUX with Deluxe Vinyl Box Set

Spanish singer Rosalía is commemorating the one-year milestone of her critically acclaimed album LUX with the release of a deluxe vinyl box set. Slated for shipment in March 2027, the limited-edition package offers fans a distinctive collector’s item that expands on the album’s artistic identity.

The box set, available now for pre-order via Rosalía’s official online stores in the US and Europe, is priced at approximately $150 and €136 respectively. It features a blue linen-bound container adorned with gold lettering, housing a gatefold sleeve that showcases exclusive gold-themed cover art previously unseen. Central to the set is an etched vinyl record, complemented by a lyric booklet, a scarf, and an embossed heart emblem. Additionally, the design incorporates tissue paper folded into a cross shape, reflecting the religious symbolism woven throughout the LUX project.

This celebratory edition follows closely on the heels of a recent release of an official sheet music book for LUX, unveiled in late October. These offerings underscore Rosalía’s evolving engagement with the album, which has been noted for its fusion of experimental pop with orchestral and operatic elements. Collaborations on LUX include notable contributions from artists like Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, alongside the London Symphony Orchestra, highlighting its ambitious scope.

Earlier this week, Rosalía fueled further anticipation by sharing an Instagram Story featuring a glimpse of her working on new material labeled "THE LUX TOUR FILM." This tantalizing detail, identified by fans and reported by Europa FM, has sparked speculation about a forthcoming documentary capturing the narrative of her extensive world tour supporting the album.

While concrete details about the film remain scarce, its potential aligns with the broader pattern of commemorative projects surrounding LUX. The album itself garnered significant industry recognition, earning multiple nominations for Rosalía at the upcoming Latin Grammy Awards scheduled for November 12th, where she is contending in seven categories.

Since its original release on November 7th, 2025, LUX has been celebrated for its bold artistic direction, blending avant-garde pop with classical influences, and has been honored by outlets like Consequence as the best album of that year. The deluxe box set and scorebook serve not only as fan memorabilia but as tangible extensions of the album’s rich creative landscape.

Rosalía’s approach to LUX reflects a deliberate cultivation of thematic and visual motifs, especially the use of religious iconography, which permeates the album’s aesthetic and now the physical packaging of the anniversary edition. This continuity highlights her attention to crafting a multi-sensory artistic experience.

As Rosalía prepares to take the stage at the Latin Grammys, the LUX anniversary products and potential tour film collectively illustrate a sustained engagement with the album’s legacy. Fans and critics alike are poised to witness how these projects will further illuminate the depths of LUX’s innovative spirit.
