FOXHAUNT Return With Absolution – New Single Out Now!

Emerging from a period of focused creative development, the Leeds-based quartet FOXHAUNT have reintroduced themselves to the heavy music scene with their latest single, "Absolution." Known for their ability to fuse compelling hooks with impactful musical dynamics, the band has crafted a track that resonates across various heavy music subgenres.

The new release arrives after months of the band working intensively on fresh material, signaling a renewed phase in their artistic output. "Absolution" stands out with its memorable melodic elements paired with a powerful drop, showcasing FOXHAUNT’s growth and versatility in sound.

Lyrically, the single delves into themes of political disillusionment and social frustration. The band explores the tension arising from leadership figures perceived as disconnected from the repercussions of their decisions, highlighting issues such as greed, self-interest, and a deficit of empathy. This thematic direction offers listeners a critique of contemporary power structures.

Central to the song’s narrative is the concept of judgment beyond earthly authority. The chorus contemplates the idea that no matter how insulated those in power may appear, there exists an ultimate reckoning for their actions. This perspective introduces a contemplative layer to the track, challenging the notion of invulnerability among political elites.

In addition to releasing "Absolution," FOXHAUNT have outlined a series of upcoming live performances that will allow fans to experience their new material alongside earlier works like "A New Beginning" and "Gasoline." Their schedule includes appearances at notable events and venues across the UK.

On October 10th, FOXHAUNT will perform at Croft Fest in Lincoln, a charity festival supporting Muscular Dystrophy UK. This event also features bands such as The Five Hundred, Waterlines, and Asleep At The Helm, situating FOXHAUNT within a broader community of artists contributing to philanthropic causes.

Following Croft Fest, the band’s itinerary continues with a supporting slot for Darlah at The Flapper in Birmingham on October 16th. The very next day, FOXHAUNT will headline a show at the Head Of Steam in Newcastle, providing a platform to showcase their evolving sound directly to their followers.

The series of performances culminates with FOXHAUNT’s participation in the Novocaine Festival on November 28th in Sheffield. This festival includes headlining acts like As Everything Unfolds and Tropic Gold, offering FOXHAUNT a prominent stage in a diverse lineup.

While details regarding further releases or a full-length project remain limited at this time, the band's strategic engagement with live audiences and their politically charged new single suggest a conscientious and deliberate trajectory.

Listeners interested in "Absolution" can access the track across all major streaming platforms. For ticketing and additional information on FOXHAUNT’s live appearances, fans are encouraged to consult the band’s official digital links.
