Jake Isaac details new album, "CRY.DANCE.LOVE."

South London singer-songwriter Jake Isaac is set to release his latest album, CRY.DANCE.LOVE., on February 19, 2027. This project follows his 2024 album BENJAMIN, where he explored his gospel influences, and marks a further deepening into themes of spirituality and self-discovery.

Isaac’s newest work draws inspiration from legendary figures such as Paul Simon, Bill Withers, The Temptations, and James Brown. This lineage of soulful and rhythm-driven music informs the album’s sound, which blends elements of soul with alt-pop, enriched by orchestral arrangements.

The album’s creation was a largely solitary process; Isaac wrote and produced the entire collection himself. However, the record features contributions from several collaborators, including guitarist Aylwin Steel, bassist Charlie Thornton, horn arranger Kat Deal, and a chamber orchestra based in Budapest. This combination adds a layered, rich texture to the album’s sonic landscape.
