Snoh Aalegra announces new album, Legendary Love

Swedish-Iranian singer and producer Snoh Aalegra is set to release her new album, Legendary Love, on November 13, 2026. This announcement comes after a three-year hiatus from releasing new music, marked initially by her recent single, Karma.

Legendary Love represents a creative journey spanning two and a half years, during which Aalegra explored themes rooted in a complex personal relationship she describes as a "dated karmic connection". This relationship, though never fully realized, influenced the emotional tone and lyrical content of the album.

The new album draws inspiration from a nostalgic era of music that significantly shaped Aalegra’s artistic vision. The body of work is imbued with sentiments of longing and romance that echo the sounds and feelings she cherished growing up. This connection to her musical roots is evident throughout the album’s composition and production.

Among the album’s highlights is the single "I Love You," featuring contributions from legendary guitarist Nile Rodgers and bassist Raphael Saadiq. The track was co-written by Aalegra alongside Joel Compass, with production by Josh Grant. Rodgers and Saadiq’s instrumental performances add a rich layer of texture to the song’s lush soundscape.

Accompanying the single is a music video directed by Alfred Marroquín, which visually complements the song’s emotive qualities. This release follows closely on the heels of Karma, serving as another glimpse into the album’s narrative and sonic direction.

Legendary Love is positioned as a reflective work that captures transformation brought on by deep emotional experiences. Aalegra conveys that the album’s songs are fragments of her evolving identity, shaped by the intensity of love and self-discovery.

The collaboration with notable musicians such as Rodgers and Saadiq highlights an intersection of contemporary soul with classic influences, reinforcing the album’s thematic homage to past musical eras while maintaining a fresh perspective.

Further details about the full tracklist or additional collaborators have yet to be disclosed, leaving some aspects of Legendary Love’s composition and scope to be unveiled closer to the release date.

Released through the label Stem, Legendary Love is anticipated to mark a significant chapter in Snoh Aalegra’s career, potentially solidifying her reputation as a soulful storyteller capable of blending emotional depth with refined musical craftsmanship.

As anticipation builds among fans and critics alike, the album promises to offer an intimate exploration of love’s complexities through Aalegra’s distinct vocal delivery and artistic sensibility. Legendary Love will likely resonate with listeners drawn to heartfelt narratives and sophisticated production alike.
