Spanish Horses and Funhaus to lead SON Estrella Galicia Autumn/Winter concert series

SON Estrella Galicia is set to kick off its Autumn/Winter concert series with a compelling live event featuring Spanish Horses and Funhaus at The Sebright Arms on 22 October 2026. This concert marks a continuation of the brand's dedication to supporting emerging musical talent and intimate grassroots venues.

Spanish Horses, a rock ensemble originally formed in Paris and now based in London, will headline the evening. The band recently signed with So Young Records and has gained momentum through their latest singles, "Hey Man (Hey Man!)" and "Some People," both released in the previous month. Their evolving sound and growing presence position them as a noteworthy act within the UK indie and rock scenes.

Joining them on stage is Funhaus, a London-based post-punk quartet. The group made waves earlier this year with their double A-side release "Bugs / Jonesin’," following up on their 2024 debut single "Scene Vulture." Funhaus’s inclusion in the lineup highlights SON Estrella Galicia’s focus on showcasing diverse contemporary acts within the alternative music spectrum.

This upcoming performance follows the success of SON Estrella Galicia’s recent Soundhood East London 2026 event, a two-day music gathering held across multiple venues last month. That festival featured performances from artists such as Honeyglaze, The Orchestra (For Now), and thistle., underscoring the organization’s ongoing commitment to fostering community and musical discovery in East London.

SON Estrella Galicia’s Autumn/Winter series continues a tradition of integrating live music with cultural initiatives. Previous events have spotlighted artists like Gurriers, Dream Wife, Swim Deep, and Courting, among others. In addition to concerts, these events often incorporate workshops addressing topics such as sustainability and beer culture, reflecting the brand’s broader engagement beyond music alone.

The selection of The Sebright Arms as the venue for the October show is consistent with SON Estrella Galicia’s support for local, independent venues. By prioritizing spaces like The Sebright Arms, the series not only provides platforms for emerging artists but also helps sustain the grassroots music infrastructure vital to the UK’s vibrant live music ecosystem.

Tickets for the Spanish Horses and Funhaus performance are currently available via the Dice platform, offering fans the opportunity to experience a carefully curated event that blends new music discovery with community-driven ethos. While specific details about the full series schedule remain limited, the confirmed lineup sets a promising tone for the upcoming season.

Overall, SON Estrella Galicia remains a significant player in nurturing rising talent and enriching London’s live music landscape. This Autumn/Winter series exemplifies their ongoing strategy of combining artist development with cultural programming, ensuring that both musicians and audiences benefit from thoughtfully designed experiences.

As the music industry continues to evolve, initiatives like SON Estrella Galicia’s concert series underscore the importance of local engagement and innovative event formats. The partnership with acts such as Spanish Horses and Funhaus illustrates how independent labels, venues, and promoters can collaborate to sustain vibrant artistic communities.

Looking ahead, observers and fans alike will be watching how this series unfolds, hopeful that it will sustain the momentum generated by recent events and foster new opportunities for emerging artists within London and beyond.
