Karol G Kicks Off 2026 Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour: Full Setlist

Karol G commenced her eagerly anticipated 2026 Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour on July 24 at Chicago's Soldier Field, marking a significant milestone in her career. The Colombian artist’s opening performance embraced a vibrant aesthetic, reflecting the thematic elements of her latest creative era, Tropicoqueta, characterized by tropical imagery and colorful stage design.

Building on the momentum of her groundbreaking Coachella headlining appearance, Karol G expanded her artistic universe by incorporating elaborate visuals such as showgirls adorned with feathers, motifs of pineapples and flowers, as well as parrots, all enveloped in an orange-hued palette that echoed her Tropicoqueta identity.

In anticipation of the tour, Karol G previewed "Matadora," a new track that showcases a compelling reggaetón rhythm underscored by assertive lyrics celebrating empowerment and sensuality. This teaser, shared on social media prior to the tour's launch, highlighted her evolution as an artist and hinted at the dynamic energy fans could expect throughout the live performances.

The extensive tour, managed by Live Nation, features a roster of prominent Latin artists including Becky G, Greeicy, and Elena Rose, who will join Karol G on select dates. The inclusion of these collaborators reflects long-standing personal and professional bonds, particularly with Elena Rose, whose relationship with Karol G has been characterized by mutual support despite demanding schedules.

Following the inaugural concert in Chicago, the tour itinerary encompasses a series of stadiums across the United States, including SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The trek then extends internationally, covering major cities in Latin America and Europe such as Mexico City, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Madrid, London, and Milan. The global scope of the tour underscores Karol G’s significant presence in the music industry and her commitment to engaging diverse audiences.

This global venture supports Karol G’s latest album, Tropicoqueta, which achieved notable commercial success by debuting at number one on the Top Latin Albums Chart and reaching number three on the all-genre Billboard 200. Moreover, the album's impact is evidenced by all 20 songs charting simultaneously on the Hot Latin Songs chart, a first in her career.

The setlist for the opening night drew from her recent body of work, including selections from Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) and her celebrated singles, demonstrating a balance between new material and established hits. The choice of songs and the concert’s production design were crafted to represent the exuberance and cultural richness that define her artistic vision.

Karol G’s Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour not only highlights her status as a leading figure in Latin music but also exemplifies the genre’s growing global influence. As she moves from stadium to stadium and country to country, the tour promises to be a landmark event, blending musical innovation with cultural celebration.

Details on further tour dates and specific collaborations remain limited, but the initial reception in Chicago sets a promising tone for what is expected to be a landmark global tour for Karol G throughout late 2026 and into early 2027.
