A Perfect Circle Unveil Music Video for “Starless”: Stream

A Perfect Circle has unveiled the official music video for their track “Starless,” a song that has recently captured significant attention within the rock music community. The single, which surfaced unexpectedly in May, swiftly climbed to the top position on the Active Rock radio charts, maintaining its lead for a fortnight.

The visual accompaniment for “Starless” was recorded during a live performance in London over the summer, marking the first occasion the band presented the song in a concert setting. This live footage prominently features frontman Maynard James Keenan, who is mostly shown in silhouette, creating a compelling and atmospheric contrast alongside guitarist Billy Howerdel and the rest of the ensemble.

This release follows a period of anticipation surrounding A Perfect Circle’s future activities. In addition to sharing the video, the band has officially announced plans for a North American tour scheduled for the spring through early summer of 2027. While specific venues and dates have been disclosed, tickets have been made available to fans eager to experience the band’s live presence.

The decision to debut “Starless” in a live context before releasing a dedicated video reflects the band’s emphasis on the dynamic energy of their performances. The London show not only introduced audiences to the new material but also served as the foundation for the video’s raw and authentic aesthetic.

A Perfect Circle’s sustained appeal in the rock scene is underscored by the single’s chart performance and the anticipation surrounding their upcoming tour. Their ability to generate buzz through surprise releases and strategic live showcases demonstrates a continued relevance in the evolving musical landscape.

While details about additional tracks or a full-length album remain limited at this time, the current activity signals a period of creative momentum for the group. Fans and critics alike are watching closely to see how this momentum translates into future studio projects or further live engagements.

The band’s approach to blending visual elements with live performance footage in the “Starless” video also highlights an ongoing trend of integrating concert experiences into promotional content, offering viewers an immersive insight into the band’s stage presence.

As the 2027 tour approaches, A Perfect Circle’s latest releases and announcements set the stage for what could be a significant chapter in their career. The combination of chart success, evocative visuals, and extensive touring plans positions the band well for renewed engagement with their audience across North America.
