Jimmy O. Yang Sets Has No Friends Tour For 2027

Jimmy O. Yang, a rising star in the world of stand-up comedy and acting, is set to embark on a sprawling tour titled the Has No Friends Tour in early 2027. This extensive series of performances will begin on January 15 in Tampa, Florida, and will span multiple cities across North America, including key markets in both the United States and Canada.

The tour culminates over four months later on May 30 at the Encore Theater located in Wynn Las Vegas, signaling a grand finale to what promises to be one of Yang’s most ambitious road endeavors to date. His schedule features a diverse range of venues, from intimate comedy clubs to large theaters, reflecting his growing popularity and ability to draw audiences of varying sizes.

Over recent years, Yang has established himself as a formidable presence in global comedy circuits, with past performances selling out across the United States and internationally. His unique comedic voice, which blends cultural insight with sharp wit, has earned him a dedicated fanbase and critical recognition.

Yang’s prominence was further solidified earlier this year when he became the first Asian comedian to have a comedy special debut in cinemas. The special, titled Finally Home, was filmed during a series of sold-out shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum, a venue known for hosting major international acts. This special is now available for streaming on Hulu, expanding his reach to a broader audience.

His previous comedy specials, Good Deal and Guess How Much?, have also enjoyed commercial success, ranking among the best-performing programs on Prime Video and accumulating millions of views globally. These works have been instrumental in building his reputation as a leading figure in contemporary stand-up comedy.

Beyond stand-up, Yang has cultivated a versatile career in acting. He gained significant attention for his roles in HBO’s Silicon Valley and the hit film Crazy Rich Asians. More recently, he appeared in Hulu’s Interior Chinatown and is slated to star alongside Oscar Isaac in the forthcoming Netflix drama series The Roman, set in Las Vegas. This dual career trajectory underscores Yang’s dynamic presence within the entertainment industry.

The 2027 tour itinerary is comprehensive, featuring stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., Toronto, and Vancouver, among others. The tour’s broad geographic scope illustrates his appeal across diverse audiences and markets. Ticket sales include presale opportunities beginning October 15 at local venue times, followed by a general public sale starting October 16.

Represented by leading agencies CAA, Artists First, and Schreck Rose Dapello, Yang’s management team is positioning this tour as a major highlight of the comedy calendar for the upcoming year. The Has No Friends Tour marks not only a continuation of Yang’s upward trajectory but also a significant moment in the representation of Asian comedians on a global stage.

As Yang prepares to hit the road, industry observers and fans alike are anticipating performances that will blend his established comedic style with fresh material, potentially reflecting his evolving perspectives and experiences. With a proven track record of sold-out shows and record-breaking performances in international venues such as Hong Kong and Tokyo, this tour is expected to further cement Jimmy O. Yang’s status as a leading figure in stand-up comedy worldwide.
