Beyonce's dad reveals fate of Destiny's Child five months after THAT reunion snap which had fans buzzing

Destiny's Child, the iconic R&B girl group that launched global music careers in the late 1990s, is preparing to release new music to commemorate their 30th anniversary, according to Mathew Knowles, the group's founding manager and father of Beyoncé. This announcement comes months after a widely shared Instagram photo reignited fan speculation about a possible group reunion.

In February, Mathew Knowles posted a photo featuring himself alongside Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams aboard a luxury yacht. The image captured the trio together for what appeared to be a private gathering, sparking widespread excitement among fans eager for a Destiny's Child comeback. Now, Knowles has confirmed that the group is actively working on fresh material.

Speaking to TMZ, Knowles revealed that Destiny's Child has recorded between 10 and 15 remixes spanning urban and dance genres. While it remains unclear whether these tracks will culminate in a full album, all three members are reportedly fully engaged in this new chapter. Additionally, Knowles mentioned the existence of unreleased video footage and audio recordings that the group plans to unveil, offering fans a glimpse into previously unheard work.

Despite the music developments, there are no current plans for a concert tour. Fans should not expect live performances anytime soon, according to Knowles. This update is notable given the group's last official release came nearly two decades ago with their 2004 album "Destiny Fulfilled," after which the trio pursued individual solo careers and formally disbanded during their world tour in 2005.

The members have maintained close ties since their separation. They notably reunited on stage during Beyoncé's final show of her 'Cowboy Carter' tour in July 2025, delivering a surprise performance that thrilled audiences. Prior to that, their last live collaboration was at Beyoncé's headline set during the 2018 Coachella festival.

Mathew Knowles played a pivotal role in the group's formation and rise to fame, having managed Destiny's Child since their inception in Houston, Texas, in the 1990s. The recent family photo on the boat reflected not only a nostalgic reunion but also the group's continued camaraderie decades after their initial success.

While details about the exact nature and timing of the new music release remain scarce, the involvement of all three members signals a meaningful return to their collective artistry. Fans and industry observers alike are anticipating how Destiny's Child will blend their signature harmonies with contemporary sounds in this upcoming project.

This development marks a significant moment for one of R&B's most influential ensembles as they prepare to celebrate a milestone anniversary. The release of new material and archival content offers a unique opportunity to revisit the group's legacy while potentially introducing their sound to a new generation.

As the music world awaits further updates, Destiny's Child's upcoming releases could reinforce their enduring impact on the genre and highlight the evolution of the artists since their last collaboration nearly 22 years ago. For now, the group’s reunion remains primarily a studio endeavor, emphasizing their focus on creating rather than touring.

In summary, Mathew Knowles's recent disclosures via TMZ confirm that Destiny's Child is gearing up to present fresh musical offerings aligned with their 30th anniversary. Although no live performances are planned, the promise of unreleased content and remixes underscores the group's sustained relevance and creative vitality in the contemporary music landscape.
